The Gwinnett Municipal Association (GwMA) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created by the cities of Gwinnett to help foster better cooperation among the cities of Gwinnett; to improve the understanding of the complex issues that cities face; and to provide for maximum efficiency and economy of taxpayer dollars.
GwMA consists of general membership representing elected officials and staff of the 14 cities in Gwinnett County. The association has two standing committees: the Executive Board (Board of Directors) and the Intergovernmental Relations Committee.
Meeting Times
GwMA meets the second Tuesday of every other month. Meetings are scheduled in February, April, June, August, October and December. The GwMA Intergovernmental Relations Committee meets the first Wednesday of the month throughout the entire year.
Executive Board
The Executive Board currently has seven members. Officers include the president, vice president, immediate past president and a secretary/treasurer. For 2010 the members of the Executive Board are:
