Evermore CID Hosts GwMA

August 9
Evermore CID hosted the GwMA members and guests at the Vecoma on the Yellow River event facility on August 4, 2021.  The primary topics for the event were showcasing the Evermore CID and sharing information about the origin and work of all the Gwinnett CIDs and their importance to Gwinnett County.
According to Executive Director Jim Brooks the Evermore Community Improvement District is an association of property owners along U.S. 78 in Gwinnett County that voluntarily taxes property owners in order to make the CID community a great place to live, work, and shop. The objectives of Evermore CID include establishing a vibrant, upscale destination area with business development opportunities and enhanced property values.  Evermore CID works with the City of Snellville, Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta region partners to help develop and promote coordinated transportation and community character improvements to benefit property owners, business owners, and residents along the Highway 78 corridor.
At the conclusion of Jim Brooks remarks attendees heard from Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners representatives about the County’s efforts to manage the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on residents and business owners in the county.  The opportunity to have an exchange with the county’s elected officials was much appreciated and capped this great session.  Thank you again to the Evermore CID for hosting GwMA!
