Snellville elected officials and Gwinnett County Library officials welcomed GwMA members and guests to celebrate the opening of the new Snellville Library and share in the progress of the Grove Development of Towne Center Snellville.

The meeting began with a tour and presentation about the library. Mayor Barbara Bender offered highlights of Towne Center construction and planned additional structures. Members were also able to view an example of the recent Ride Gwinnett micro-transit bus service.

After the Library presentation members were invited to connect in the upstairs “Thrive” coworking and shared office facility. Thrive representatives provided tours and balcony dinner space for the attendees. The session closed with recognition of Snellville’s 100th birthday celebration.
